The Center coordinates the sexual assault exam process by contacting the professionals involved. The Center provides an exam room and equipment for the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Team from our local hospitals to conduct exams for child victims on-site. This lessens the trauma for the child and family by eliminating a visit to the emergency room and providing a child friendly atmosphere.
