Denim & Diamonds

The Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center will host a show called Denim and Diamonds to be held May 19th and 20th, 2006.

The first show on the 19th will be in Bertram at the Iron Star and will be a western theme (dress in your denim!), created by and starring Lannie Garrett as Patsy Decline. It is a hilarious spoof about the big haired country queens who came before her.

The evening starts at 6:30pm with fajitas and margaritas. The Pony Races start at 7:30pm (look out for the Surprise Celebrity!) and then the main show with Lannie Garrett starts at 8:30pm.

The second show on the 20th also stars Lannie Garrett, but will be held in Horseshoe Bay (don't forget to wear your diamonds!).

This one is a Cabaret Show stocked full of Jazz, blues, torch and comedy. Lannie is one of those rare singers that truly connects with her audience. She is an entertainer who can sing a ballad that breaks your heart, turn around and blow the doors off the place with a belting blues and end up with the crowd howling at the antics of her alter/ego, her comedy character, Patsy Decline.

There will be a special Champagne "Meet & Greet" for the sponsors at 6:30pm. The doors will then open at 7pm with a sit down dinner starting at 7:30pm. The main show with Lannie Garrett will begin at 8:30pm.
